: ) Thank you~
On the intersection of wakefulness and sleepiness :)

: ) So I woke up and signed onto my aim this morning just to notice an interesting story on the
front page of the AOL website. A few years ago a young woman by the name of Callie Rogers won $3 million in a British lotto. She blew most of her money on shopping and drugs. She was only 16 at the time she won; she is now 22 and has two children of her own. She says that she’s broke now even though she still has about $32,000 left.
Now honey, I have ALL kinds of critism(sp? LOL, critism on the spelling of my word critism.) for you. First things first, when you win that money there are a couple things that need to cross your mind. Mostly about the future: Do I plan on having children in the future? Do I plan on buying a house and getting married? Those two questions ALONE will cost A LOT of money. Weddings are generally expensive, and kids are a lifetime of fortune. Now it’s never too early in your life to think about marriage and kids. Heck, we’re still in kindergarten when we start playing house and decide on who is going to be the mommy, and the daddy. Another question that should cross your mind is a career in the future. What are tuition costs for school, how much for transportation, books, residence, etc. Eventually the money is going to run out and she would have to work like everybody else.
Personally if I had won that amount of money I would automatically divide it by half and give it to charity. I know that I don’t have what it takes to handle such a large sum of money because money does lead to greed no matter who you are in the world. To be even more honest, I’m kind of bad with money. My mom is the money guru out of all of my relatives; whiz with numbers. I would go to her first and pay her to be my accountant; I think that would be fair. I would set aside money for my father as well. He’s kind of bankrupt, so I’d help him get out of half his debt. Why not all you ask, simply because people need motivation, not a solution. If I just gave him all the money he’d go bankrupt again.
If anyone reads my blog I would love to hear what you would do if you won the lottery or maybe just to comment on what I am saying about Callie Rogers.
I went on an excursion to downtown Toronto the other day. I was on Spadina in Chinatown and I got off onto this strange little street with my friend. I can’t remembe
r the name of the street. They had the cutest little festival going on! A bubble machine was going, people were dancing in the streets and a live band was playing. It was so cool to see a real cello up close (those really big violins). Anywho, we stopped into this cute little store and I found an awesome Bob Marley tee and Che Guevara bag that I wish I picked up!! Now wouldn’t those look good walking down the street? Lol
Shoutout for the day?
This o
ne goes to my good long time middle school friend Thusha. I love reading her blog and keeping up with her. She has a lot of interesting tid-bits now and again. So if you had time to stop and read this you can read hers too. ..Trust me, her stories are shorter. http://thushaa.tumblr.com/
My apologies as I am very sick today and unable to speak. I had to ask for my work to send me home because I was feeling so awful. I’m glad I did because only an hour and a half later I was passed out sleeping in my bed. I thought it might have something to do with my wicked awful fall allergies but I was wrong, just sickness. So hopefully I get better soon so I can continue blogging.
On another note, I have plenty updates I need to do. Yes! I did finish high school; a new step into the future as I venture off to college. I am very excited as well as nervous; I know that I’m going to be very busy and very tired a lot of the time. I didn’t end up going to prom after a lot of fuss. I don’t really want to explain why and have that plastered all over the interweb. Let’s just say that some schools put the student’s well being after the idea of acquiring money. I ended up taking that class that I was planning to drop months ago. It was a fitness class for grade 11’s. It came in very handy I think, I can run around a track a couple times now. :D
Now for the interesting part of the blog: Have you ever heard of Lena Fujii? She’s a great Japanese model and she also sings. What makes her a modeling master is that she is photogentic from every angle you catch her at. Some m
odels may move in a direction that gives them a bad look, but Lena doesn’t have a bad angle. I’m not the biggest fan of her songs, but I do like the song ‘Brighter Like Light’ Produced by DJ Kawasaki. Type her into google images and you’ll get a bunch of hits. She appears on the well known VIVI magazine regularly enough. Something I really like about her is the fashion behind her, there’s just a lot of ideas that she gives me that make me want to come out with my own line of clothing or something crazy like that!! Lol I love this little fall number she’s wearing.

This image has nothing to do with Ms. Fujii but I think it would be the cutest Halloween costume! It’s like a cute little pink fluffy fairy or something. Aww.

Another fashion photo I loved that I found online is this chick. Her hair and personal style looks amazing, and that’s what I think people should be more focused on. Who cares about designer name brands? If you’re all decked out in brands you have no creativity unless you put your own spin on it. So kudos to this girl!

Ahh! That reminds me that I have semi-formal on Feburary 12th. I'm just planning on having fun partying with my girls. Also, IF I decide to go to prom I think I'll take my boyfriend to that. I had ideas of dresses I want to wear. I wanted a dress with a high neck, sleeveless, the colour would be cream, it would reach my mid-thigh and be somewhat feathery/frilly. Like in the first photo, but since I haven't done that much planning for semi-formal and decided on it last minute I don't know what I'm going to wear. Everything seems to be comming so fast that I'm really stressed out. I think I'll just go with any dress that looks nice. I mean, there's nobody that I need to impress right? :)
Anyone who loves music should check out the artist LIGHTS.
And lastly, but for GOODNESS SAKES not least, the great fashion guru Joolee from youtube. Her fashion tips are inspiring, interesting, and a little obsessive. But all those things are what I love about her and her advice. She's soooo beautiful and knowledgeable about her make-up it really excites me.
